Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Boom Truck Driver for our Feldman-Lumber location.

Summary:  To drive and maintain Feldman vehicles used in the delivery of material to the customer through boom operation and physical material handling.


 1. Deliver material to job site and determine whether or not ground conditions and buildings are suitable for unloading of material.

2.  Supervise the loading of your truck ensuring the security of the material in transit.

3.  Boom material from truck ensuring the proper placement of material at job site while maintaining safety standards.

4.  Direct the action of helpers (if applicable) .

5.  Handle the collection of money on COD deliveries.

6.  Ensure that receipt of material is acknowledged before leaving the job site.

7.  Prepare daily vehicle inspections reports and driver logs in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. 

8.  Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly.

9.  Represent the Company in a courteous and professional manner.

10.Performs all other duties as assigned.




  1. Sit and operate vehicle and other mechanical equipment 70-80 % of the day.
  2. Frequently climbs on and off the truck
  3. Lift 100 pounds up to a height of 6 feet
  4. Carry 100 pounds over a distance exceeding 12 feet
  5. Push 100 pounds in a wheeled cart
  6. Bend, stoop or squat to floor level on a repetitive basis
  7. Reach overhead to grasp materials
  8. Work outside in temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold
